Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Bernard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raymond Bernard looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernard stuffs the takedown attempt from Souza. Souza gets slowly back to his feet.
Bernard looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Bernard throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Souza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Bernard will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Souza closes the distance and clinches up with Bernard, looking for a takedown. Souza pushes Bernard against the cage but Bernard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bernard definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Souza dives in for a single leg takedown but Bernard sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Souza counters with a three punch combo that has Bernard backing up. Bernard nods at Souza to acknowledge the strikes.

Souza shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bernard defends it nicely.

and Souza counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Souza cracks Bernard with an open hand slap.
Souza lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Souza.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Souza closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bernard quickly recovers to half guard.
Bernard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Souza on the ground.
Bernard wants to control but Souza is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Souza seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bernard is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
