The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cutwood darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Mack Luster has been cut.
A bone on bone clash there as Cutwood blocks the leg kick.
Cutwood seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Luster slips under a jab.
Luster scores with a decent looking hook.
Cutwood throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cutwood pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cutwood moves out of range as Luster throws a body kick.

Cutwood steps into range and cracks Luster with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Luster flops backwards and Cutwood dives into his guard looking to finish!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Cutwood looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Cutwood backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Luster's temple! It sends Luster violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Cutwood celebrates and the doctors try to help Luster!
