Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Longson darts in and clinches Gilliam up against the cage.
Longson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Longson jumps into guard, dragging Gilliam to the mat.
Gilliam landing with the ground and pound.
Gilliam not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Longson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gilliam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gilliam keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Longson's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Longson wants to sweep but no luck.
Gilliam has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Gilliam works over Longson with some ground and pound from guard.

Gilliam drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Longson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gilliam has Longson in his guard.

Gilliam wants to get back to his feet but Longson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gilliam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Longson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Gilliam has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Longson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gilliam is nestled in close to Longson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Gilliam stands up and beckons Longson to join him on the feet.

Gilliam closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Longson gets caught flat footed, as Gilliam shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Gilliam got a little sloppy there for a moment and Longson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gilliam has managed to get both his arms back between Longson's legs - danger averted.
Longson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Longson has his foot on Gilliam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gilliam works his way back into a safe position though.

Gilliam throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Longson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gilliam is in Longson's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gilliam, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
