Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hardcastle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moon has chosen Love Me Sexy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Hardcastle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon throws a nice looking combination but Hardcastle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Moon shoots in for a double leg but Hardcastle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Moon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hardcastle tries to avoid it but Moon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hardcastle to the ground. Hardcastle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moon misses with a takedown attempt - Hardcastle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mike Hardcastle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackie Moon.
Hardcastle moves into the clinch.
Hardcastle tries to break the clinch but Moon is controlling the position.
Moon swings wildly with an uppercut but Hardcastle uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hardcastle is pressed up against the cage. Moon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hardcastle down to the mat. Hardcastle avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hardcastle throws a good cross that connects.
Hardcastle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hardcastle thows a huge punch but Moon dodges it nicely.
Moon looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Moon looks gassed!
Hardcastle prevents Moon from improving his position.
Hardcastle throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hardcastle sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Hardcastle gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

A head kick misses from Hardcastle.
Hardcastle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hardcastle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moon on the ground.
Hardcastle in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Moon is looking to improve his position but Hardcastle isn't that keen on the idea.
Hardcastle trying to control but Moon is having none of it.
Hardcastle is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Moon can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hardcastle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Moon is looking to escape.

Moon is trying desperately to improve position.
Hardcastle lands a big elbow.
Moon is trying to escape the mount.
Hardcastle misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Moon gets back to half guard.
Hardcastle wants to control but Moon is keeping him busy.
Moon is trying to get back to full guard.
Hardcastle sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Moon defending well though.

Hardcastle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Hardcastle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hardcastle wants to pass the guard but Moon is keeping the position.
Moon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hardcastle trying to control the position from guard on top but Moon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Moon avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Moon has his foot on Hardcastle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hardcastle works his way back into a safe position though.

Hardcastle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moon keeps working.

Mike Hardcastle dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Moon.
Hardcastle is looking to regain half guard here but Moon keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moon tries for a kimura but Hardcastle is defending well.
Hardcastle is looking for a sweep.
Moon throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Hardcastle can't do much from the bottom here.
Hardcastle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hardcastle tries to get out of the position.
Hardcastle is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Moon asserts his dominance and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Hardcastle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Moon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hardcastle has escaped the position, nice work there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Moon has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hardcastle is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Moon yanks on the arm and Hardcastle is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Moon.
