PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hark Munt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cam Sar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munt comes to the cage accompanied by Oceans(Where feet may fail). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cam Sar was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hark Munt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cam Sar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munt sizes up Sar with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.


It looks like Cam Sar has been cut.

Munt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sar, pushing him back against the cage.
Sar is looking to break free of the clinch but Munt has double underhooks.

Munt pulls guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sar working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Sar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Munt is on top in guard.

Munt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Sar manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Munt has Sar pressed against the cage, preventing Sar from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Munt is trying to pull guard but Sar has him pressed against the cage.

Munt decides to pull guard.

Munt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sar defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Munt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sar wants to get up but he can't break Munt's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Munt has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sar should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Munt has tightened it up now! Sar should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hark Munt!
Hark Munt seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
