The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe tries to keep at a distance but Fernando has taken the fight into the clinch.
Joe lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Fernando backwards.
Fernando is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Joe is keeping busy.
Joe fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Fernando tries to score a body lock takedown but Joe shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Fernando tries to break the clinch but Joe is controlling the position.
Fernando wants to take the fight to the mat but Joe manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Joe creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Joe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Joe throws a big uppercut that drops Fernando! More strikes from Joe and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Fernando lies dazed against the cage as Joe celebrates with his cornermen!
