The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Grimm. No joy for McMarson on that attempt.
McMarson fails with the takedown.
Grimm connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Arlen McMarson has been cut.
The fighters circle momentarily. Grimm darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Grimm slaps away a takedown attempt from McMarson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Otto Grimm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arlen McMarson.
McMarson loads up on a big right hand but Grimm slips the punch.
Grimm scores with a crisp jab that stopped McMarson in his tracks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Grimm connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between McMarson's hands.
McMarson goes for a double leg but Grimm avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Grimm continues to drive forward.

Grimm bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McMarson's head backwards.

Grimm stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grimm wants it to stay on the feet.
McMarson looks winded!
McMarson takes a swing at Grimm's ribcage but misses.
A little feinted left hand from Grimm on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Grimm fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches McMarson on the side of the head.
Grimm cracks McMarson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends McMarson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Grimm pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! McMarson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
