The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovalev misses with a wild combination.
Kovalev throws a nice looking combination but Davis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kovalev throws a right and a left that Davis avoids nicely.
Davis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Davis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kovalev has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Danga de danga de dang - Davis scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Peter Kovalev has been cut.
Kovalev looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Davis lands a jab.
Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kovalev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davis lands with a big left! Kovalev is wobbled badly! Davis comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Kovalev to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
