Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Greg Dellaria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmonray Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malapitan has chosen My Time is Now as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 26 - 0, fighting out of New York, Greg Dellaria!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 24 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dmonray Malapitan!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malapitan slips under a jab.
Malapitan ducks under a wild hook from Dellaria.
Malapitan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dellaria defends it well.
Dellaria has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Malapitan.
Dellaria wants to land a leg kick but Malapitan is out of range.
Malapitan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dellaria throws a big counter combination but Malapitan scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Malapitan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dellaria counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Greg Dellaria has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmonray Malapitan.
Dellaria looks to throw the jab but Malapitan is out of range.
Dellaria rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Malapitan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dellaria works Malapitan's body with a nice hook.

It looks like Dmonray Malapitan has been cut.
Dellaria throws a leg kick but Malapitan moved away.
Malapitan is still on wobbly legs! Can Dellaria finish him?
Nice takedown defense from Dellaria. No joy for Malapitan on that attempt.
Malapitan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Malapitan seems to have recovered his senses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dellaria cracks Malapitan with an uppercut from hell and Malapitan crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Dellaria's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Malapitan is looking to stand up but Dellaria isn't so interested in that idea.
Dellaria passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Dellaria is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Malapitan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Malapitan dodges the ground and pound from Dellaria.
Malapitan trying to remain calm as Dellaria controls from the top position.
Dellaria's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Dellaria scores with punches from side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dellaria throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Malapitan works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Malapitan is trying to get back to full guard.
Malapitan keeps trying to improve his position.
Dellaria is looking to take a break and control but Malapitan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Malapitan is refusing to be controlled, as Dellaria sits in half guard.
Dellaria stalling.
Dellaria prevents Malapitan from improving his position.
Dellaria keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Dellaria has taken the fight to the clinch.

Dellaria breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dellaria stuffs the takedown attempt from Malapitan. Malapitan gets slowly back to his feet.
Greg Dellaria is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dellaria pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Malapitan moves out of range as Dellaria throws a body kick.

Dellaria gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Dellaria escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dellaria looks to land a right hand but Malapitan moved out of range.

Dellaria moves into the clinch successfully.

Dellaria pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dellaria tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Malapitan was well out of range. Poor timing from Dellaria.
Malapitan keeps the fight on the outside.
And Malapitan tries to counter it with a takedown but Dellaria pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dellaria keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Malapitan avoids the head kick by Dellaria.
Malapitan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dellaria defends it well.
Malapitan closes the distance and clinches up with Dellaria, looking for a takedown. Malapitan pushes Dellaria against the cage but Dellaria circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Malapitan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dellaria avoids it really well and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Dellaria rushes Malapitan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dellaria escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dellaria throws a lazy right hand but Malapitan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dellaria forces Malapitan back against the cage and clinches.
Malapitan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dellaria manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dellaria looks to land a left hand but Malapitan moved out of range nicely.
Dellaria dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Malapitan. That did some damage!

Dellaria darts in and clinches Malapitan up against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dellaria lands a good knee to the midsection. Malapitan won't want to take too many of those.

Dellaria breaks the clinch.
Dellaria bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Malapitan's head backwards.
Dellaria throws a body punch but Malapitan moves out of range.
Malapitan dives in for a single leg takedown but Dellaria sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Dellaria appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Dellaria is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Malapitan can do to turn this around?
Dellaria defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Malapitan.
Greg Dellaria has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmonray Malapitan.
Dellaria throws a head kick but Malapitan moves out of range.
Dellaria lands a really nice looking cross but Malapitan seems unphased.
Dellaria connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Malapitan tumbling to the canvas! Dellaria pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Malapitan was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Greg Dellaria!
Greg Dellaria made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I've spent enough time cleaning up the basement of this division....how about a real challenge, a real contender.'.
