Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Palya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacky Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Palya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacky Chan! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chan misses with a head kick.
Palya tries to clinch but Chan is having none of it. Chan let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Palya tries to close the distance and clinch but Chan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Palya misses with a takedown and Chan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Chan circles away from the clinch attempt and Chan counters with a big head kick but Palya shrugs it off. Palya drives through with a takedown into Chan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Palya pushing down on Chan's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Palya is figuring out what he wants to do next. Chan wants to get back to full guard but Palya has passed into side control. Chan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Palya knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Chan is thwarting Palya's attempts to control the position. Chan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Palya keeps working. Palya flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Palya is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Palya trying to hold on to Chan's head to control him but Chan postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Chan controlling the action here. Palya is positioning himself well to prevent Chan advancing to mount. Palya looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Palya is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Chan is tapping! Great win for Palya!
