PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaambi Ayouba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan has chosen Nirvana - The Man Who Sold the World as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kaambi Ayouba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Genghis Khan!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Khan throws a body punch but Ayouba moves out of range.
Ayouba swats away the attempt to clinch by Khan.
Ayouba swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Khan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Khan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ayouba momentarily.
Khan lands a big uppercut and Ayouba crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ayouba looks OK. Khan waves Ayouba back to his feet!
Ayouba is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan flashes Ayouba a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Ayouba's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Ayouba crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Khan punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Genghis Khan!
A relieved looking Genghis Khan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
