Tran has chosen Blockbuster Night Part 1 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Andrew Tran looks lathargic as he enters the arena. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Markov lands a left and a right that sends Tran crashing to the canvas! Markov dives into mount looking to finish!

Markov takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Markov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tran tries to reverse the position but Markov maintains control.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Markov is stinking the place up with his stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Markov scores with a hook to the body. Tran takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Markov pounces like a tiger and cracks Tran with a vicious hook! Tran is down but not out! Markov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

A pretty intense looking Aleksey Markov took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
In defeat, Andrew Tran stepped up to the mic, saying 'Well It Wasn't My Best Fight, But I Will Train Hard To Get Back In The Game And Win My Next Fight.'.
