The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pantalones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Wallace or perhaps it was just good defense by Pantalones which made him look bad.
Wallace misses with a looping left.
Wallace throws the left hand but Pantalones avoids the punch easily.
Wallace closes the distance and clinches up with Pantalones, looking for a takedown. Wallace pushes Pantalones against the cage but Pantalones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pantalones stuffs the takedown attempt from Wallace. Wallace gets slowly back to his feet.

Pantalones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wallace manages to avoid it.
Oooh a lovely combination from Pantalones sends Wallace down but not out. Pantalones dives into side control looking to finish.

Wallace postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Pantalones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wallace, into his guard.

Wallace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pantalones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wallace shoots in looking for a takedown. Pantalones tries to sprawl out of it but Wallace keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pantalones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
