The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nedkov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kidd gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Nedkov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Nedkov is trying to control the position but Kidd postures up.
Kidd distracts Nedkov with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Kidd decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Nedkov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Nedkov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Nedkov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kidd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nedkov has managed to get both his arms back between Kidd's legs - danger averted.
