Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zlatan Arshavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Silli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zlatan Arshavin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarkko Silli!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silli throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Silli fakes the leg kick and cracks Arshavin in the body.
Arshavin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Silli finds it's way round the side to connect with Arshavin's head.
It looks like Zlatan Arshavin has been cut.
Arshavin is looking to clinch.
Arshavin moves into the clinch.
Silli blocking some punches.
We've been informed that Silli has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Arshavin is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Silli is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Silli wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Silli pushes Arshavin back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Silli working hard to break the clinch.
Arshavin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silli walks away with a smile on his face. Arshavin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silli gets caught napping as Arshavin dives in and scores a takedown. Silli manages to retain guard.
Arshavin passes into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Arshavin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Silli to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silli looks to land a combination. Arshavin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Silli moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jarkko Silli is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Arshavin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silli.
Silli drops Arshavin with a straight right hand, right on the button! Silli follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jarkko Silli!
