Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rob Spence! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spence looks to clinch and Harvey counters with a one-two to the body. Spence gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Harvey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Spence avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Harvey pulls guard. Spence wants to stand but Harvey is controlling his posture from full guard. Spence throwing strikes from guard but Harvey blocks nicely. Spence gets to his feet. Harvey looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spence rushes Harvey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Harvey goes for a takedown in the clinch but Spence prevents it.

Spence wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Harvey stops Spence from standing up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Spence darts in trying to clinch and Harvey counters with a series of strikes. Spence will be more careful next time no doubt. Spence pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It looked like Harvey was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Spence moves to clinch but Harvey breaks away and Harvey counters with a one-two to the body. Spence wants to clinch and Harvey counters with a series of strikes. Spence will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Spence tries to clinch up but Harvey circles away and keeps his distance. Harvey fires out a quick counter leg kick but Spence just manages to avoid it. Spence gets the takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spence wants to stand but Harvey is controlling his arm. Spence advances nicely into full mount. Spence tries to control but Harvey wriggling away. Spence landing punches. BOOM! Spence connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Spence swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
