The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lowery connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Jed Fredo has been cut.
Fredo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lowery paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lowery connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fredo. Fredo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fredo thows a leg kick but Lowery checks it
and Fredo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Fredo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Oooooh!!! Lowery has knocked Fredo down with a huge combo! Lowery steps away and waves a wobbly Fredo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Jed Fredo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fredo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Fredo leaves his chin hanging out and Lowery seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Fredo crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
