The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gunner throws a body shot but no joy.
Gunner tries to clinch but Awesome moves out of range.
Awesome connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gunner. Gunner circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Awesome swats away the attempt to clinch by Gunner.
Gunner looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gunner tries to clinch but Awesome moves out of range.

Awesome avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gunner throws a hook to the side of Awesome's head but Awesome sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jack Gunner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Awesome fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gunner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Awesome throws a quick inside leg kick.
Gunner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Awesome manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gunner throws a lazy right hand but Awesome sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Gunner loads up on a big right hand but Awesome slips the punch.

Awesome looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Awesome lands a big head kick that sends Gunner tumbling to the mat! Awesome takes a step backwards and waves Gunner back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jack Gunner has been cut.
Awesome moves in close and cracks Gunner with a massive right hand! Gunner, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Awesome!
