Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janno Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Byczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs comes to the cage accompanied by Apocalypse Please. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jari Byczynski! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibbs has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gibbs wants to break free but Byczynski has control.
Gibbs lands on the inside with an uppercut. Byczynski lands an uppercut. Byczynski manages to break the clinch.
Byczynski tries a low kick but Gibbs avoids it. Byczynski gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Byczynski connects with a body shot. Gibbs takes the fight into the clinch. Gibbs throws a head punch that misses. Byczynski blocks an uppercut.
Gibbs breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gibbs clinches up against the cage. Gibbs has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Byczynski pushes Gibbs back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gibbs misses with a hook from the clinch. A short uppercut from Byczynski. Byczynski working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Gibbs is trying to push Byczynski away but Byczynski has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. A head punch blocked on the inside by Gibbs. Byczynski throws a head punch that misses. Byczynski working the clinch nicely. Gibbs is working for position but Byczynski cracks him with a big knee to the head! Gibbs crumples up against the cage and Byczynski lands two more shots before the ref can save Gibbs! This one is all over!
