Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hans Gruber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Stevenson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Francis DeMontford and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gruber throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stevenson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gruber is in Stevenson's guard.
Gruber loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Stevenson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gruber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gruber won't allow Stevenson to sweep him here.

Stevenson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gruber does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A relieved looking Hans Gruber thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
