The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blevins takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Lamont Blevins has been cut.
A punch combination from Lopez misses.
Lopez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
It looked like Blevins was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lopez throws a right hand that Blevins ducks under and follows up with a left that Blevins also avoids with ease.
Lopez lands a left and a right that send Blevins crashing to the mat, dazed. Lopez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Blevins is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blevins is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Lopez just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Blevins has gone limp and this one is over!
