Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Charms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rokuya Monkeymagic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monkeymagic falls off balance throwing a combination

and Charms moves into the clinch.
Charms slowing the pace effectively.
Monkeymagic looking to throw knees to the head but Charms is blocking nicely.

Charms has clasped his hands together around Monkeymagic's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Charms looking to control but instead Monkeymagic has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Charms trying to control from half guard but Monkeymagic is working away.
Charms stalling away here and it's allowed Monkeymagic to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Monkeymagic trying to keep a closed guard but Charms is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Monkeymagic holds on and takes a little breather.
Monkeymagic wants to sweep here but Charms controlling him for the moment.
Charms stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Monkeymagic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Charms has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Charms looking to sit in guard and control but Monkeymagic gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Monkeymagic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Charms swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Monkeymagic controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Monkeymagic's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Charms wants to stand and escape but Monkeymagic is having none of it.

Monkeymagic drops back looking for a leg! Charms is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Charms manages to kick Monkeymagic off! Monkeymagic jumps back into Charms's guard.
Charms knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Monkeymagic on the ground.

Charms wants to sweep here but Monkeymagic controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Monkeymagic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Monkeymagic works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Charms is breathing heavily.
Monkeymagic is looking to take a break and control but Charms is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Monkeymagic controlling the action here.
Monkeymagic trying to control from half guard but Charms is working away.
Charms is trying to control but Monkeymagic manages to pass to mount!

Charms is squirming around, avoiding Monkeymagic's attempts to control the action.

Monkeymagic is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Charms is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Charms flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Monkeymagic anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Charms and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Monkeymagic slips an arm under Charms chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Monkeymagic has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Monkeymagic is squeezing on Charms like an anaconda would it's prey. Charms fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
