Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Siusiakov Pindolov!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson tries to close the distance and clinch but Pindolov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wilson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pindolov's head.
Wilson jabs Pindolov right on the nose. Pindolov blinks but takes it well.
Wilson throws the left hand but Pindolov avoids the punch easily.
Wilson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wilson lands with a hook. Pindolov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Wilson tries to clinch but Pindolov is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pindolov now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wilson tries to clinch but Pindolov moves out of range.
Pindolov is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Wilson with a body shot.
Wilson misses with a two punch combination.
Wilson works Pindolov's body with a nice hook.

Wilson takes a swing at Pindolov's ribcage but misses.
A little jabbing left from Pindolov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wilson misses with a series of wild punches.
Wilson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wilson wants to clinch but Pindolov slips to the side
and Pindolov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wilson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wilson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wilson misses with a body shot.
Some wild striking there from Wilson.

Wilson drops Pindolov with a big left hand and mounts him. Pindolov is in big trouble!


It looks like Siusiakov Pindolov has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wilson content just to control the position here.
Wilson won't let Pindolov get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pindolov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Pindolov somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Wilson looks to clinch
and Pindolov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wilson moves in looking to clinch but Pindolov pushes him off.
Rick Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wilson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wilson wants to clinch.
Wilson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Wilson wants to clinch up but Pindolov keeps it at a distance.
Despite the aggression on Pindolov's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Wilson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Wilson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wilson throws a right hand that Pindolov ducks under and follows up with a left that Pindolov also avoids with ease.
Wilson tries to clinch but Pindolov is having none of it.
Pindolov is looking for the big counter here.

Wilson rushes Pindolov and presses him up against the cage.
Wilson tries to pull guard but Pindolov holds him up against the cage and eventually Wilson drops back down to his feet.
Pindolov blocking some punches.

Wilson has a couple of punches blocked by Pindolov.
Pindolov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wilson has him pressed against the cage.

Pindolov breaks from the clinch.

Wilson grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Pindolov takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Wilson cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
