Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuuto Kawasati (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beni Nikaido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuuto Kawasati! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Beni Nikaido! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kawasati changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nikaido tries to avoid it but Kawasati manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nikaido to the ground. Nikaido escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nikaido closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kawasati tries to improve position but can't. Kawasati is working hard here to advance position. Nikaido lands a decent elbow from side control. Kawasati manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nikaido's best efforts. Nikaido wants to take a breather but Kawasati is having none of it. Nikaido is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kawasati is just riding it out for now. Nikaido eventually gives up the hold. Kawasati is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nikaido scores with a couple of nice shots. Nikaido throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kawasati is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nikaido pulls his head out easily. Nikaido frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Kawasati keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nikaido is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kawasati can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kawasati sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Nikaido is trying to work for a kimura but Kawasati is defending well.
Nikaido decides to return to a standing position. Nikaido tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kawasati tries a head kick but it misses.

Nikaido is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Nikaido can't find room to land a body shot as Kawasati controls the action.

Kawasati escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kawasati keeps the fight on the outside. Kawasati with a poor takedown and Nikaido counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nikaido shoots in looking for a takedown. Kawasati tries to sprawl out of it but Nikaido keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Kawasati manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nikaido tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kawasati was well out of range. Poor timing from Nikaido. Nikaido shoots and misses and Kawasati counters with a solid body kick. Nikaido looks gassed! Nikaido circles away from the clinch attempt and Nikaido counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Kawasati moves into full guard.
Nikaido is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kawasati working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nikaido doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kawasati is tightening it up a little... Nikaido has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Nikaido reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Nikaido taps out! nice BJJ there by Kawasati!
