PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bastian Peugiez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Point Dexter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dexter has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Point Dexter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peugiez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dexter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Peugiez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dexter - the referee stops the clock and Peugiez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dexter. Peugiez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Dexter was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Peugiez. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
