Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arjen Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem comes into the arena with Switchblade Smiles blaring out of the sound system. John Davidson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. John Davidson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem lands the left hand.
Davidson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Davidson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Overeem.
Overeem thuds his shin into the meat of Davidson's side.
Overeem cracks Davidson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Overeem takes the fight into the clinch.
Overeem breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Overeem scoring well with a low kick there.
Overeem comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Overeem lands with a good body shot.
Overeem with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Davidson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Overeem delivers a nice body kick.
Overeem throws a front kick that sends Davidson stumbling back into the cage.
Overeem scores with a nice strike.
Davidson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Overeem. That one must have hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Overeem lands a nice leg kick that just misses Davidson's sensitive parts.
Overeem fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
That kick from Overeem tenderised Davidson's leg. Davidson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Overeem scores with a spinning back kick!
Davidson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Overeem circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Davidson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Overeem follows Davidson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
