The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaVictoire has taken the fight to the clinch.
Holman is trying to pull guard but LaVictoire has him pressed against the cage.

Holman manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Holman jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as LaVictoire walks away with a smile on his face. Holman gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Holman is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
LaVictoire has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
LaVictoire is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Holman is in real trouble.
