Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brendon Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kelvin Alan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alan throws a shot to the body.
Alan tries to clinch but Davis moves out of range.

Alan has Davis up against the cage in a clinch.
Alan is leaning against Davis and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Alan gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Davis is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Davis's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Davis is doing well to control the position and prevent Alan from advancing to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis trying to control but Alan postures up.
Davis is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Alan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis is staying active underneath Alan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Alan thows a huge punch but Davis dodges it nicely.
Alan is stalling here. Davis is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Alan seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Davis has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Alan is trying to control Davis's posture but Davis avoids it.

Alan is letting Davis control him for a moment.
Alan is trying to improve his position.
Davis cracks Alan with a big elbow.
Davis lands a decent elbow from side control.

Davis is landing with some decent strikes but Alan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Davis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Alan is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Davis has taken his back.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Alan tries to escape but Davis has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Davis really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Alan.

That was a close round but I would say that Brendon Davis will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Davis swings for the body but Alan moves out of range.
As Davis backs off Alan throws a huge counter combo but Davis manages to avoid it all.

Alan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Davis moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Alan wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Davis is on top in guard.

Davis is in close to Alan's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Davis content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Alan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Alan trying to keep a closed guard but Davis is proving a slippery customer.
Davis lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Davis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Davis lands a couple of digs.

Davis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Alan, up you get!

Alan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Alan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Davis does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Davis is concentrating on defense, preventing Alan from advancing position.
Brendon Davis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Alan wants to control but Davis is keeping him busy.
The fighters are battling for position here. Davis manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Davis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alan's guard.

Alan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Davis defends it easily.
Davis postures up and lands a big shot to Alan's brow.

Alan wants to hit a switch here but Davis passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Alan there!
Alan tries to lock up and control but Davis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Davis lands a heavy elbow.
The referee warns Alan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Davis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Alan's face.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Davis pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Alan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brendon Davis dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Davis counters with a two punch combo.

Alan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Brendon Davis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Alan is looking to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Davis.

Alan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Alan trying to control the action but Davis is working from the bottom.
Davis moves into full guard.

Alan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Alan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davis works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Alan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davis swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Davis is controlling Alan's posture.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Alan gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Alan lands a takedown into guard.
Alan trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Davis looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight!
Kelvin Alan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Davis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
