Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dobson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beck comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sepultura - Roots Boody Roots kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
30 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Dobson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hans Beck! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Dobson. Dobson tries to land a front kick but Beck steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Beck bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Beck has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Dobson checks a low kick from Beck. Beck tries a low kick but Dobson avoids it. Dobson fires out a quick counter leg kick but Beck just manages to avoid it. Beck gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Beck lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dobson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dobson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Dobson lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Hans Beck has been cut. Beck misses with a head kick.

Dobson misses with a low kick. Dobson backing away here, and Beck unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Beck swings for the body but Dobson moves out of range.

Dobson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Beck doesn't seem bothered though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dobson lands a head shot. Beck uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dobson. Beck raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. The fighters circling - Dobson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Beck counters with a body kick. Beck moves out of range as Dobson strikes. Dobson clobbers Beck with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Beck catches Dobson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Ben Dobson has been cut. Dobson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beck stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Beck avoids the head kick by Dobson.

Beck throws out a leg kick but Dobson moves out of range and Beck only half commits. Dobson swings for the body but Beck moves out of range.
Beck is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Dobson with a body shot. Beck throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dobson tests Beck's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Beck crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dobson - the referee stops the clock and Beck gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dobson. Beck manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dobson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Dobson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Beck misses the jab. Beck tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dobson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Beck moves out of range as Dobson strikes. Beck takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dobson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Beck under the eye. Dobson throws a series of punches but Beck avoids them all with ease. Dobson with a jab.
That has opened up Hans Beck's cut even more. Dobson lands a nice looking body shot.
Dobson lands a right hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dobson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Beck looks winded! Dobson looks to land a right hand but Beck moved out of range. A solid leg kick lands there for Dobson.
Beck slips a jab from Dobson. A good leg kick by Dobson. Beck misses with an attempted mid kick.
Beck connects with a right hand. Dobson shakes it off. Dobson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Beck ducks under a wild hook from Dobson. Dobson throws a body punch but Beck moves out of range. Beck misses with a body kick. Dobson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beck throws a sloppy head kick and Dobson moves out of range easily. Beck lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Dobson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dobson just misses with a punch to the body.
Beck lands a jab to the nose. We've been told by Dobson's head coaches at Cutthroat that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dobson moves into range and connects with a jab. Dobson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beck manages to avoid it. Beck lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Dobson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Beck changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Dobson swings and misses with a shot to the body and Beck counters with a one-two to the body. Dobson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Beck. Dobson scores with a nice right hand.
The cut above Hans Beck's eye is starting to cause him problems now. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Beck throws a solid leg kick but Dobson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Beck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Dobson dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Beck lands a nice hook to Dobson's body. Dobson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Beck throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ben Dobson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beck misses with a lunging right hand
and Dobson counters with a stiff right hand. An inside leg kick from Beck misses. A little feinted left hand from Dobson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Dobson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Beck. Dobson thuds a left hand into Beck's body. Beck misses the body punch and Dobson counters with an inside leg kick. Beck misses with a hook. Dobson ducked under it nicely. Beck scores with a jab. Dobson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dobson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Beck walks into a left hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dobson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Beck sprawling to the canvas! Beck rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dobson finish him?!
Beck is rocked! Dobson lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Beck up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Dobson from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Beck's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ben Dobson! Ben Dobson seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
