Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zackary House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tymoteusz Piatek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Piatek sprawls well initially but House persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

House looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Piatek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
House is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
House looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

House is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Piatek defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Piatek bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
House tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Piatek wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Zackary House overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Piatek tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
House is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

House is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
House has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Piatek is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for House.
House is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Piatek can do to turn this around?
