Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Draven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miguel Gonzalez has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miguel Gonzalez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Draven! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Gonzalez does no damage. Excellent takedown into side control there by Draven. A lull in the action here as Draven stalls from top position. Gonzalez can't do much from the bottom here. Draven throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Draven wants to control but Gonzalez is keeping him busy. Gonzalez prevents Draven from moving into mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draven takes a little break here. Gonzalez wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. We've been hearing good reports from Gonzalez's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Draven tries for a kimura but Gonzalez is defending well. Gonzalez prevents Draven from improving position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Draven remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gonzalez is trying to control Draven's posture but Draven avoids it. Gonzalez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Draven is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Draven trying to control the position but Gonzalez is working away. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Gonzalez keeping his opponent close.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Gonzalez takes the fight into the clinch. Nice body punch from Gonzalez - that landed with a thud.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Draven manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Draven. Gonzalez tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Draven manages to circle out of the way. Draven swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nice uppercut lands for Gonzalez. That snapped Draven's head back.
A head kick by Draven misses and Gonzalez counters with a solid body kick. Draven has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gonzalez. Gonzalez throws a predictable looking body shot
and Draven counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gonzalez won't be happy with that. What's Gonzalez going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Draven postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
You can see the frustration on Gonzalez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Draven trying to control the action but Gonzalez is working from the bottom. Draven tries for a kimura but Gonzalez is defending well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gonzalez is not content to let Draven control the position. Draven tries to advance to mount but Gonzalez instead regains half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gonzalez trying to control here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Miguel Gonzalez will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Draven lunges at Gonzalez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gonzalez's hand. Gonzalez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gonzalez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Draven connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Miguel Gonzalez has been cut. Draven slips under a jab from Gonzalez. Gonzalez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Draven swats him away and circles back towards the center. Draven changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Gonzalez throws a hook but Draven avoids it easily. Gonzalez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Draven misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gonzalez misses the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gonzalez feints and then cracks Draven's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Draven down. Gonzalez misses with a takedown attempt and Draven counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gonzalez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gonzalez gets a double leg takedown into Draven's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Draven wants to sweep here but Gonzalez controlling him for the moment. Eric Draven has got the better of the ground game so far.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Draven takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gonzalez tries to clinch but Draven moves out of range. Gonzalez dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gonzalez lands a big head kick that sends Draven tumbling to the mat! Gonzalez takes a step backwards and waves Draven back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Draven is rocked!
It looks like Eric Draven has been cut. Gonzalez lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
