Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flavius Odoacer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Odoacer has chosen Entrance of the Gladiator as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odoacer on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
King tries to land a front kick but Odoacer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Odoacer throws out a counter right but King avoids it with no problem.
King moves away from the strike by Odoacer.
King attempts a counter takedown but Odoacer avoids it well and moves away.
King fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Odoacer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Odoacer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like Odoacer might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

King feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

After winning the bout, Flavius Odoacer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
