The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatsby looks to land a body kick but Per�l� moved away.
Gatsby has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Per�l�.
Gatsby wants to slow Per�l� down by chopping away at his legs.
Gatsby tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Gatsby takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

A solid leg kick lands there for Gatsby.

Gatsby throws a strike but Per�l� rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gatsby tries to reverse the position but Per�l� maintains control.

A very excited looking Taisto Per�l� rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Jay Gatsby spoke after the fight, saying 'Damn, I had him. I don't think I'd have lost if... In fact, I'm sure I won this fight, hope you give me a rematch, old sport. Can't repeat the past? Why, of course you can... of course you can. '.
