Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lynwood Terrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Galloway!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Terrell.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Galloway.
Terrell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Terrell shoots in and drives through. Galloway sprawls well.

Galloway drives through with a takedown into Terrell's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Galloway passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Terrell is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Galloway is trying to get an arm triangle but Terrell is defending well.

Galloway decides to stand back up. Galloway steps back and let's Terrell get back to his feet.

Galloway shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Terrell has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Galloway is on him like a limpet, forcing Terrell back against the cage.

Terrell trying to control the position but instead, Galloway has worked for underhooks and has pushed Terrell into the cage.
Galloway is trying to force a seperation but Terrell has the dominant position.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Galloway takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Galloway gets control of Terrell's arms and successfully pulls guard. Galloway will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Galloway has his foot on Terrell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Terrell works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Let's hope that Galloway has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Terrell is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Galloway is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Galloway has escaped and now he's on top!

Terrell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Galloway is controlling him.

Terrell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Galloway is continuing to stall.

Galloway gets to his feet - Terrell follows without any prompting.

Galloway decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Galloway is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Terrell has managed to free his arm - good work.

Galloway takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Terrell is trying to get back to full guard.

Galloway wants to work for an arm triangle but Terrell is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Galloway thows a huge punch but Terrell dodges it nicely.

Galloway is looking for a kimura but Terrell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Galloway to get the leverage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Terrell gets full guard.
Galloway is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Galloway is standing up over Terrell. Terrell looks to escape but Galloway dives into side control.

Galloway has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Galloway closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Galloway is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Galloway.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Galloway showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Galloway in particular looking to stall.

The adventures of Galloway the control monster continue. Boring.
Terrell wants to control but Galloway is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Galloway postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Terrell to stand up.

Terrell tries to pull guard but Galloway holds him up against the cage and eventually Terrell drops back down to his feet.

Terrell is trying to stand up here but Galloway is controlling him well.
Galloway is pressing down on Terrell's thigh, looking to free his foot. Terrell is holding on for now.
Galloway frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Poor strikes thrown by Galloway there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Galloway throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Galloway just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
I really don't envy Terrell right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Galloway is trying to stick to Terrell's back but Terrell is turning into Galloway. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Galloway's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Terrell.
Lynwood Terrell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Mike Galloway is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Galloway has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
