Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lee Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Carl Casey was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Pierce! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Casey! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pierce scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Pierce is thwarting Casey's attempts to control the position. Casey is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Casey is looking to escape. Casey is not content to let Pierce control the position. Pierce throwing shots but Casey is blocking nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pierce seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Casey does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pierce tries to pass the half guard into mount. Casey knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Casey is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pierce's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pierce's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Pierce is keeping busy.
Pierce wants to escape the position.
Casey is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Casey is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Pierce has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Casey working for the choke. Casey doesn't have the hooks in and Pierce manages to turn into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pierce trying to control the position from guard on top but Casey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pierce postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Casey wants to sweep here but Pierce controlling him for the moment. Casey has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pierce should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Casey has tightened it up now! Pierce should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
