The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wilkins has closed the distance and engaged Souza in a clinch.
Souza tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wilkins smiles and moves away.
Wilkins stuffs the takedown attempt from Souza. Souza gets slowly back to his feet.
Wilkins lands a really nice looking cross but Souza seems unphased.
Souza fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Paul Wilkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronaldo Souza.

Souza is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Souza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wilkins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wilkins scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Souza shoots in but Wilkins avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Souza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wilkins's waist but Wilkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Souza off to one side.
Wilkins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Souza stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wilkins.

Horrible takedown by Souza or perhaps it was just good defense by Wilkins which made him look bad.
Wilkins throws a right hand that Souza ducks under and follows up with a left that Souza also avoids with ease.

Souza won't let Wilkins get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
