Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ross Swann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swann comes to the cage accompanied by Corey Hart - I Wear My Sunglasses At Night. Wilson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Last Dragon. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

30 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Don Wilson! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Wilson. Swann does a little dance to reset his feet. Wilson swinging wildly here.

and Swann counters with a straight right hand. Wilson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Swann throws a lazy right hand but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Swann lands with a right hand. Wilson misses the jab. Swann throws a shot from downtown. Wilson moves away and avoids it. Swann has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle Elite MMA in the buildup to the fight. Wilson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Swann sees it coming and avoids it easily. Swann jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Swann throws an overhand right that lands on Wilson's shoulder, as Wilson tries to avoid the shot. A telegraphed right hand from Wilson misses the target. Swann digs a good body shot into Wilson's ribs. Swann clinches up with Wilson and pushes him back against the cage. Swann avoids the elbow strike from Wilson, against the cage.

It's hard to tell if that hurt Wilson or not. Swann tries to work over Wilson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wilson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Swann takes an elbow to the temple. Wilson wants to break the clinch but can't.

Not much technique there but it did the business. The fighters circling - Wilson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice uppercut lands for Wilson. That snapped Swann's head back.
Wilson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wilson throws the left hand but Swann avoids the punch easily. Wilson wants to clinch letting Swann counter with a right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Don Wilson will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
The fighters circling - Wilson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. It looked like Swann wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Wilson in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Swann digs a good hook to Wilson's body.

Swann moves out of range as Wilson strikes. Swann slips under a jab. Wilson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Swann digs a good hook to Wilson's body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A swing and a miss from Swann. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Swann takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Swann connects with a crisp jab. Swann looks to score with a jab to the body but Wilson is just out of range. Wilson misses with the combination.

and Wilson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wilson throws the left hand but Swann avoids the punch easily. Swann scores with the left hand. Wilson knows he should have avoided that one. Wilson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Swann defending well as Wilson loads up on a big left hand. Wilson misses the shot to the body. It looked like Swann was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Wilson throws a hook but Swann avoids it easily. Swann fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wilson on the side of the head. Swann slips under a jab. Swann avoids a punch combination nicely.
Swann moves away from the strike by Wilson. A little feinted left hand from Swann on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. A slow jab from Wilson misses its intended target. Swann half committed to a counter leg kick. Swann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Swann connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Wilson is rocked! Swann lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Wilson at a distance.
Wilson is still on wobbly legs! Can Swann finish him? Swann cracks Wilson with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Wilson tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Swann pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wilson is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
