Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callum Tweedie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tweedie has chosen Snow Patrol - Chocolate as his entrance music. Callum Tweedie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Diego Nunes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Callum Tweedie! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tweedie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nunes on his heels. He'll look to pass Nunes's guard now, I'm sure. Nunes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tweedie is one step ahead there. Tweedie engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Nunes is trying to keep Tweedie in close.
Nunes tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nunes being controlled here, momentarily. Nunes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nunes looking for a sweep. Not yet Nunes, not yet. Nunes is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tweedie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nunes is working an open guard so Tweedie takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Tweedie moves out of range as Nunes strikes. Tweedie tries to counter by closing the distance. Tweedie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nunes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tweedie moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tweedie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tweedie, right into the meat.
Nunes misses with a double jab
and Tweedie counters with a thumping low kick. Nunes throws out a loose jab but Tweedie uses good head movement to avoid it. Nunes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nunes throws an off balance right hand
and Tweedie counters with an outside leg kick.
Tweedie avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nunes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tweedie counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nunes's knee momentarily. Nunes is breathing heavily. Nunes closes the distance and clinches up with Tweedie, looking for a takedown. Nunes pushes Tweedie against the cage but Tweedie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nice straight punches there by Tweedie. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tweedie. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nunes throws a combination that misses and Tweedie counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nunes's knee momentarily. Tweedie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tweedie lands in his opponent's guard. Tweedie postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Nunes has an active guard here but Tweedie has managed to pass into half guard.
Tweedie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tweedie working over Nunes with some ground and pound. Nunes looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Tweedie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Let's hope that Tweedie has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Nunes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tweedie on the ground. Tweedie is looking for a kimura but Nunes is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tweedie to get the leverage. Tweedie is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Tweedie tries to pass to full mount but Nunes defends it. Tweedie passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nunes!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tweedie controlling his opponent. Tweedie punishing his opponent with strikes. Tweedie content just to control the position here. Tweedie putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Nunes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nunes tries to get out of the position. Tweedie controlling the pace for now. Nunes defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Tweedie. Tweedie tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Callum Tweedie dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nunes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tweedie throws a counter combo. Tweedie lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Good standup being displayed there by Tweedie as he connects with a hook. Nunes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tweedie. Tweedie tries to counter with a clinch but Nunes shakes him off and moves away. Tweedie pushes Nunes up against the cage in a clinch. Nunes is trying to break the clinch but Tweedie is controlling him. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Nunes. Nunes can't break the clinch.

Tweedie lands a left hand that snaps the head of Nunes backwards. Nunes is trying to push Tweedie away but Tweedie has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. A head punch on the inside from Nunes fails to land. Tweedie has Nunes pressed against the cage, preventing Nunes from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A head punch blocked on the inside by Tweedie. Tweedie landing knees to the body.

It looks like Diego Nunes has been cut. Tweedie is pushing Nunes up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Tweedie has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nunes misses with some punches.

Nunes is trying to push Tweedie away but Tweedie has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Tweedie keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nunes's efforts to push away. A short right from Tweedie. Nunes throws a punch but it's blocked by Tweedie. Tweedie breaks from the clinch.

Nunes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tweedie can pounce on him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Tweedie!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nunes fails with the takedown and Tweedie counters by clinching up. Nunes wants to get back to striking at distance but Tweedie won't allow it.
Tweedie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Tweedie lets loose with a powerful body kick. Nunes will feel that in the morning. Diego Nunes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tweedie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nunes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tweedie tries to avoid it but Nunes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tweedie to the ground. Tweedie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tweedie throws out a powerful jab. Tweedie looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Tweedie throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nunes on the side of the head. Nunes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tweedie counters by moving into the clinch. Nunes working aggressively here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Tweedie. Callum Tweedie seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Nunes throws a punch but it's blocked by Tweedie. Nunes misses with some punches.
Tweedie lands a big knee to the head and Nunes goes down! Tweedie is looking to finish!
Nunes is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tweedie lands an elbow. Oh Nunes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd goes nuts as Tweedie knocks Nunes out cold with a massive hammerfist! Tweedie Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
