The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dacascos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Davie throws a leg kick that is checked
and Dacascos counters with a straight right hand.
Dacascos tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dacascos lands a slapping body shot.
Dacascos moves in looking to clinch but Davie pushes him off.
Davie gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Dacascos clinches up against the cage.
Davie tries to stall but Dacascos uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Dacascos.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davie is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Dacascos gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Dacascos lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Davie backwards.
Davie tries to pull guard but Dacascos holds him up against the cage and eventually Davie drops back down to his feet.
Dacascos lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Davie backwards.
It looks like Art Davie has been cut.
Davie is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Dacascos.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dacascos lands a right hand.
Davie could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Still in the clinch, Dacascos scores with a nice short uppercut.

Dacascos drops Davie onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Davie is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Davie is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dacascos lands a big right hand that drops Davie! The killer instinct kicks in and Dacascos finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Dacascos!
