1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Ramirez! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ramirez did well to prevent Quinn getting side control. Quinn stops Ramirez from getting back to his feet.
Quinn with the ground and pound but Ramirez uses the opportunity to regain guard. Quinn being controlled here momentarily. Ramirez's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Quinn trying to control the position from guard on top but Ramirez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ramirez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Quinn really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ramirez is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn wants to stand up but Ramirez is controlling him. Ramirez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ramirez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Quinn is keeping the position for now. Ramirez sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ramirez looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn wants to stand and escape but Ramirez is having none of it. Ramirez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Let's hope that Ramirez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Ramirez throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Quinn works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Quinn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ramirez on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ramirez passes into half guard. Ramirez tries to stand and escape but Quinn is controlling the position. Ramirez trying to control the pace. Ramirez seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ramirez looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ramirez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Quinn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ramirez is trying to control but can't.
Ramirez pushes Quinn off looking to stand but Quinn dives back in and keeps control.
Ramirez is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Ramirez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Quinn. Ramirez is looking to control Quinn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ramirez avoid being mounted? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quinn prevents Ramirez from improving his position. Quinn working over Ramirez with some ground and pound. Ramirez looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn working Ramirez over with strikes. Ramirez has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Quinn is trying to control the action in half guard but Ramirez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Quinn is thwarting Ramirez's attempts to control the position. Quinn slips a nice elbow through Ramirez's hands, connecting with Ramirez's forehead. Quinn lands strikes from half guard. Quinn with the ground and pound but Ramirez uses the opportunity to regain guard. Quinn stands up from guard. Let's bang! Ramirez looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Ramirez controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Ramirez. Ramirez tries to free his leg and advance position but Quinn is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramirez looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ramirez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Quinn! Ramirez moves into full mount! Ramirez content just to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn stops Ramirez from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Ramirez controlling the pace for now. Ramirez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Quinn is now in Ramirez's guard. A big mistake from Ramirez there, giving up the dominant position! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ramirez keeping moving, preventing Quinn from controlling successfully. Quinn throws an elbow that misses. Ramirez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Quinn's guard. Nice move by Ramirez!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sylvester Quinn will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Ramirez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Quinn wants to get back to his feet but Ramirez is dominant here and he's now got Quinn's back! Ramirez biding his time, controlling Quinn. Ramirez is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
