The bell rings for round one and we are underway! murl takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sawyer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts murl as he jumps to the side. Sawyer instigates a clinch. murl tries for a takedown. No joy.
murl works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. murl decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sawyer, up you get! Sawyer closes the distance and clinches up with murl, looking for a takedown. Sawyer pushes murl against the cage but murl circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. murl clinches. Sawyer tries to pull guard but murl won't allow it.

Sawyer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Oh Sawyer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! murl rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sawyer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sawyer ducks under a wild hook from murl. murl comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sawyer seems to have got his legs back now. murl works Sawyer's body with a nice hook. Sawyer darts in trying to clinch and murl counters with a two punch combo. murl has managed to clinch.
murl is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sawyer can't fight it off and eventually murl manages to take the fight to the floor. Sawyer looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. murl content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. murl stands up from guard.
