Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blair Reeves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Poul Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Poul Sims enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Blair Reeves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Poul Sims!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sims scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Sims lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Sims wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reeves keeps working.

Sims is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reeves is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Reeves tries to improve position but can't.
Sims moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sims wants to stand but Reeves is controlling his arm.
Sims trying to control the position but Reeves is working away.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sims has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Sims shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Reeves manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Sims has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Reeves is proving hard to escape from.

Sims decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sims closes the distance and clinches up with Reeves, looking for a takedown. Sims pushes Reeves against the cage but Reeves circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Reeves blocks a jab.
Reeves appears to be looking for a big counter.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sims changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reeves tries to avoid it but Sims manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reeves to the ground. Reeves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sims throws a right hand that misses
and Reeves counters with a left to the body.
Sims shoots and misses
and Reeves counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Blair Reeves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Poul Sims.
Sims misses with a head kick.

Sims bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sims throws an elbow but Reeves slips to the side and avoids it well.

Sims wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reeves, who protects the arm well.

Sims decides to take the fight back to the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sims misses with a body shot
and Reeves counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sims thinking.
Reeves moves out of range of the body kick from Sims.

Sims feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Reeves is rocked!
Sims throwing strikes from guard but Reeves blocks nicely.
Oh Reeves is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sims is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Sims lands a couple of digs.

Sims gets to his feet - Reeves follows without any prompting.
Sims misses with an uppercut.
Sims misses with a head kick.
Reeves feinted with a counter takedown.
Sims looks winded!

Sims dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Reeves has had enough and taps out.
