Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kshitij Singh Negi!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myles misses with a takedown attempt
and Singh Negi counters with a two punch combo.
Myles fails with the takedown
and Singh Negi counters with a one-two to the body.
Singh Negi tries to close the distance and clinch but Myles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Myles avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Myles gets the takedown into side control.
Myles prevents Singh Negi from escaping the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Singh Negi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Myles wants to control but Singh Negi is keeping him busy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Myles is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Singh Negi is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Myles working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Myles is looking to take a break and control but Singh Negi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Singh Negi avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Myles.

Myles is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Singh Negi looks calm but he's in trouble here. Myles gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Singh Negi is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Myles lets go of the hold and Singh Negi can pop his arm back in it's socket.
