The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweet tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Haapana moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Sweet has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Haapana finds it's way round the side to connect with Sweet's head.
Haapana lands with a nice body punch.
Haapana throws a nice inside leg kick.
Haapana dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Haapana gets a clinch.
Haapana lands with a light punch inside.
Sweet is trying to pull guard but Haapana turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Sweet wants to break free but Haapana has control.
Sweet blocks a body shot from Haapana.
Haapana lands an elbow inside that Sweet shrugs off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Haapana lands an elbow just above Sweet 's eye.

Sweet tries to pull guard but Haapana forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Sweet drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sweet has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Haapana is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Sweet pushes a forearm under Haapana's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Haapana is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
