Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Ennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ennis has chosen Cotton Eye Joe as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Salvatore Berg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Aaron Ennis! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ennis closes the distance and pushes Berg back into the cage. Berg has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ennis after a bit of a struggle. Berg tries for a takedown. No joy.
Berg tries to score a body lock takedown but Ennis shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ennis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Salvatore Berg. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ennis works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Berg has an active guard here but Ennis has managed to pass into half guard.
Ennis throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Berg to regain full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Berg is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ennis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Berg is pulling down on Ennis's head to control his posture. Berg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ennis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ennis trying to control but Berg is working from the bottom. Berg is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Berg has his foot on Ennis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ennis works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Berg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ennis defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Berg throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Berg utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ennis trying to control but Berg is working from the bottom. Berg looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Ennis passes into side control.
Berg is looking to regain half guard here but Ennis keeps moving and retains side control. Ennis stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Ennis manages to break the clinch.
Ennis tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Berg counters with a single leg into guard. Ennis didn't expect that. Ennis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Berg has Ennis pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ennis manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. A short left from Ennis. Berg has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ennis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Berg can't get the takedown.
Ennis softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ennis walks away with a smile on his face. Berg gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ennis tries to close the distance and clinch but Berg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Berg changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Ennis clinches. Ennis throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Aaron Ennis dominated that round. That's time! Berg's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ennis is looking to clinch. Ennis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A punch combination from Ennis misses. Berg wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Ennis throws a right and a left that Berg avoids nicely. Berg seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Ennis wants to clinch. Berg really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ennis darts in trying to clinch and Berg counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ennis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ennis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Berg swats him away and circles back towards the center. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ennis has eaten all the pies! Ennis forces Berg back against the cage and clinches. Ennis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Berg is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Berg has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ennis is trying to improve his position. Berg staying calm. Ennis is breathing heavily. Berg has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ennis tries to clinch there but Berg circles away.

Ennis is working an open guard so Berg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Berg is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
