Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Davy Geerts! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quinton Hach! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hach scores with a punch to the head. Hach avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hach closes the distance and lands a one-two. Hach scores with a hook to the body. Geerts takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Some wild striking there from Hach.
Hach scores with a spinning back kick! Hach lands a nice shot to the body.
Geerts throws an overhand right that lands on Hach's shoulder, as Hach tries to avoid the shot. A chopping leg kick lands by Hach. Geerts tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hach lands a head kick!
Good shot there by Hach. Hach lands with a right hand. Hach scores with a nice head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Geerts takes one on the button. Nice jab there from Hach. Geerts misses with a straight right. Hach throws a series of punches but Geerts moves out of range. Hach uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Geerts. Hach works Geerts's body with a nice hook. Geerts is breathing heavily. Hach clinches with his opponent.
Hach scores with a hook to the body. Hach lands a nice knee to the body. Hach lands an uppercut. Hach lands a shoulder strike. Hach with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Geerts takes a shot to the head. Geerts avoiding damage as Hach throws knees to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hach makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Hach prevents Geerts from breaking the clinch. Hach lands an uppercut. Hach lands with a light punch inside. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hach. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hach. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hach lands a shot to the body. Hach throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Geertss head. Hach connects with a knee to the head.
Geerts tries to break the clinch but Hach is controlling the position. A short right from Hach on the inside. Hach is trying to drag Geerts to the mat but Geerts just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Geerts has had enough of the clinch but Hach keeps him there for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hach crunches a lovely knee into Geerts's ribcage. Hach lands with a left to the head. A body shot lands from Hach.
Geerts's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Hach lands with a light punch inside. Geerts is trying to break free. Hach lands with a light punch inside. Hach lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Hach lands on the inside with an uppercut. Geerts is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hach. Hach lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Geerts is rocked! Hach prevents Geerts from breaking the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stalling in the clinch from Hach.
Geerts is trying to break free. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hach. A nice left hand lands by Hach.
Hach gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Hach gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Geerts.

Hach lands a left hand that snaps the head of Geerts backwards. Hach breaks from the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hach moves away from the strike by Geerts. A cross from Hach lands. Hach jabs Geerts right on the nose. Geerts blinks but takes it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinton Hach dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hach gets a clinch. Hach escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hach has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hach cracks a nice hook into Geerts's ribs. Quinton Hach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hach uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Geerts takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Hach lands with a right hand. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hach, right into the meat.
Geerts has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Geerts there as he acknowledges the shot. Davy Geerts is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hach ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hach lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh Geerts is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hach connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hach moves into range and clinches up with Geerts. Hach lands with a short shot to the head. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hach tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Geerts seems to have got his legs back now. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Hach in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Hach makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Hach. Hach working some nice short punches in the clinch. Hach creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Geerts with a big uppercut! Geerts tries to clinch up but Hach pushes him back against the ropes and lands another moster strike that crumples Geerts to the mat! Geerts covers up and Hach unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Quinton Hach!
