Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Takasugi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Tickel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Will Tickel was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Tickel!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tickel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Takasugi's half guard.
Tickel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Takasugi is just riding it out for now. Tickel eventually gives up the hold.
Tickel wants to work for an arm triangle but Takasugi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tickel is looking for a kimura but Takasugi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tickel to get the leverage.
Tickel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tickel perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Tickel wants to take a breather but Takasugi is having none of it.
Tickel wants to pass the guard but Takasugi is defending well.
Tickel is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Takasugi is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Tickel has latched onto it... Big trouble! Tickel pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Takasugi is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Tickel!

Will Tickel really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Milwaukee's Best 160 (80% laundry) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
