The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nada shoots in for a double leg but Popeye sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Popeye scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Popeye stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nada cracks Popeye with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Popeye throws a leg kick which misses Nada's front leg but catches the back leg as Nada tries to avoid it.
Nada uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Popeye.

Popeye darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Popeye dodges the punch combination from Nada.
A counter left hand to the body from Popeye misses its target.
Popeye misses with a straight left.
Nada misses with a body shot.
A low kick from Popeye is predictable there
and Nada counters with a stiff right hand.
Nada checks a leg kick nicely.
Nada moves out of range of the leg kick from Popeye.
Nada thuds his right hand into Popeye's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Nada lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Popeye throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Nada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nada's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Popeye scores with a sloppy right hand. Nada should have avoided that one.
