Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ichabod Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eliah Marshal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crane comes to the cage accompanied by Way of The Ninja. Marshal comes into a darkened arena with his song building. "Straight Outta Compton" by NWA kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichabod Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eliah Marshal! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane misses with a hook
and Crane takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Marshal lands with a kick to the temple. Crane shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Marshal slips a straight right by Crane. Marshal is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A big left from Crane misses. Crane tries a head kick but it misses.
Crane misses with a left hand and Marshal counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Marshal misses with a jab, cross combination.
Crane was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Crane throws a sloppy body shot
and Marshal connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Marshal is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Marshal with a hook. Crane scores with a one two! Marshal had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice uppercut lands for Crane. That snapped Marshal's head back.
Crane lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Eliah Marshal has been cut. Marshal takes one to the chin there.
Marshal is rocked! Marshal takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Crane's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Marshal connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Crane scrambles back to his feet. Marshal takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Crane misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crane throws the left hand but Marshal avoids the punch easily. Marshal lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Crane avoids the head kick by Marshal.
Marshal comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Crane throws a looping overhand right but Marshal ducks down to avoid it. Marshal throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Crane. Marshal throws out a leg kick but Crane moves out of range and Marshal only half commits. Crane throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Marshal raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Marshal takes a jab right on the kisser.
Crane throws a body shot but no joy. Marshal is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Crane takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Marshal throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Crane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Marshal lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Some wild striking there from Crane.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshal keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Marshal swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A slow jab from Crane misses its intended target. Marshal keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Crane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Marshal sees it coming and avoids it easily. Marshal moves out of range as Crane strikes. Marshal lands a leg kick that knocks Crane off balance momentarily. Crane checks a low kick from Marshal. Marshal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A looping hook to the body misses from Crane. Marshal does a little dance to reset his feet. Crane looks to land a left hand but Marshal moved out of range nicely. Marshal tries to move into range but Crane moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Nice jab there from Crane. Marshal lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Crane is looking to score with low kicks. Crane walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Marshal checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Crane throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Marshal bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Crane's head backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshal thuds his right hand into Crane's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Marshal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crane paws at him with a jab and circles away. Crane takes a swing at Marshal's ribcage but misses. Marshal is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Crane takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Marshal is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Crane had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Marshal clobbers Crane with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Crane swats away the attempt to clinch by Marshal. Marshal lands with a slapping head kick. Marshal cracks the inside of Crane's front leg. Marshal bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Marshal avoids a punch combination nicely.
Marshal slips a jab from Crane. Marshal has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Crane throws the left hand but Marshal avoids the punch easily. Crane scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Crane scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crane blocks a head kick by Marshal.

Marshal throws a head kick that half lands.
Marshal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Marshal throws a leg kick but Crane sees it coming and checks it nicely. Crane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Crane went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Marshal throws a lazy head kick and Crane counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Crane missing with a left hand there. Marshal was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Marshal misses with a hook. Marshal cracks Crane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Marshal is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Crane. Crane has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Marshal. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Marshal goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Crane tries to bum rush Marshal with a series of wild strikes but Marshal uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Marshal avoids a punch combination nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Eliah Marshal will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Eliah Marshal's cut. That's time! Crane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Marshal counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nice shot lands for Marshal. Marshal lands a nice looking body shot.
Marshal ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Marshal tries to clinch but Crane is having none of it. Marshal uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crane. Crane misses with a few strikes there.
Crane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Crane swings widly with a right hand
and Marshal counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Crane crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Marshal - the referee stops the clock and Crane gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Marshal. Crane manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Marshal lands with a nice body punch. Crane has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Crane there as he acknowledges the shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Marshal jabs Crane to the body, keeping him at a distance. Eliah Marshal seems to be getting the better of the standup. Crane throws an overhand right that lands on Marshal's shoulder, as Marshal tries to avoid the shot. Crane fails to land with a series of punches.
Crane misses with a straight left. Marshal pushes Crane up against the cage in a clinch. Crane blocks an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshal misses with a punch on the inside.
Crane wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Marshal lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Ichabod Crane has been cut. Crane misses with a hook to the ribs.
Crane is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Marshal is keeping busy. A head punch on the inside from Crane fails to land. Marshal with a knee to the head.
Marshal has a couple of punches blocked by Crane.
Marshal tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Marshal creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Crane tries to break the clinch but Marshal is controlling the position. Crane is trying to break the clinch but Marshal has him pressed against the cage. Crane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Crane lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshal throws a head punch that misses. Crane blocks a punch to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marshal lands with a short shot to the head. Marshal content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Marshal working Crane over with knees to the body. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Marshal. Crane working hard to break the clinch. Crane working hard to break the clinch. Marshal looking to slow down the pace here. Marshal misses with some punches.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Marshal in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Marshal lands with a light punch inside. Crane tries to circle away but Marshal has him pinned against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshal breaks the clinch.

Crane throws an overhand right that lands on Marshal's shoulder, as Marshal tries to avoid the shot. Crane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Marshal swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Marshal lands a glancing blow to the side of Crane's head. Crane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marshal. Nice straight punches there by Marshal. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Marshal. Marshal throws a nice head kick!
Marshal shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Crane eats them both and turns towards Marshal to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Crane is rocked! Marshal pounces like a tiger and cracks Crane with a vicious hook! Crane is down but not out! Marshal follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Eliah Marshal! After the fight, Eliah Marshal was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
