Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Storm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabryel Catchmaer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabryel Catchmaer will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabryel Catchmaer! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Catchmaer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Catchmaer lands a nice uppercut. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Storm struggles to land a body shot inside as Catchmaer controls his hands.
Catchmaer lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Fred Storm has been cut. Catchmaer looks to throw an elbow but misses. Catchmaer scores with a shot to the side of Storm's head. A quick uppercut on the inside from Storm. Catchmaer stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Storm. Storm misses with a short punch on the inside. Catchmaer manages to break the clinch.

Gabryel Catchmaer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Catchmaer works the jab nicely. Storm walks into a straight right hand from Catchmaer. A combination from Storm does no damage. Catchmaer throws a series of punches but Storm avoids them all with ease.

A jab from Catchmaer finds it's way through Storm's defenses. Catchmaer works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. No joy there for Storm, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Catchmaer, as that shot connected.

Catchmaer throws out a powerful jab. A big left from Storm misses. Catchmaer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Storm. Storm swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Jab, jab by Catchmaer - just one landing. Storm definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Catchmaer tests Storm's chin there with a solid looking shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jab, jab by Catchmaer - just one landing. Catchmaer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Storm was well out of range. Poor timing from Catchmaer. Storm swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Catchmaer displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Storm throws a body punch but Catchmaer moves out of range. Storm looks to land a right hand but Catchmaer moved out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Catchmaer! But no joy. A big left from Storm misses. Catchmaer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Catchmaer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Storm's head backwards. Storm has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Catchmaer finds it's way round the side to connect with Storm's head. Catchmaer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Storm's hands. Storm slips a jab and a cross from Catchmaer.

Storm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Catchmaer circles away quickly and effectively. Catchmaer lands with a shot to the body. Catchmaer pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Storm back to the cage. Catchmaer follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Catchmaer is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Catchmaer throws a hook but Storm avoids it easily. Storm throws a body punch but Catchmaer moves out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Storm takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Catchmaer throws out a loose jab but Storm uses good head movement to avoid it. Catchmaer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Storm looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Catchmaer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Catchmaer is rocked! We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Catchmaer in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. This has been an exciting period of action! Nice shot by Catchmaer. Catchmaer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Storm looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Storm throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Catchmaer lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Catchmaer ducks under a wild hook from Storm. Storm throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Catchmaer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Catchmaer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Storm has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Catchmaer finds it's way round the side to connect with Storm's head. Catchmaer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Storm on the side of the head.

Catchmaer has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Storm goes down! Catchmaer dives on top of him - Storm manages to get guard.
Oh Storm is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Catchmaer loads up on a big left hand. Storm felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Catchmaer looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Storm can't hide his disappointment, as Catchmaer celebrates the victory.
